Free From the Love of Money

Money is a useful resource, but it should never become the ruler of our hearts. God’s Word teaches us to live without covetousness and to be content with what He has already provided. The constant desire for more can distract us from recognizing the many blessings that are already present in our lives.
True contentment does not depend on the amount of money in our bank accounts or the possessions we own. It comes from knowing that God is always with us. His promise, “I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee,” gives us a security that money can never provide.
Financial stewardship requires us to earn, save, spend, and give wisely while keeping God at the center of our decisions. We may pursue financial stability and success, but we must never allow the love of money to replace our love for God or our concern for others.
Today, let us appreciate what God has entrusted to us and remain confident that He will faithfully supply our needs according to His perfect will.

Let Us Pray
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your faithfulness and for promising never to leave us nor forsake us. Help us to live free from covetousness and the love of money. Teach us to be grateful and content with the blessings You have already provided.
Give us wisdom to manage our finances responsibly and to keep money in its proper place. May our desire for material possessions never become greater than our desire for You. Help us trust in Your provision, share generously with others, and honor You with everything entrusted to our care.
Above all else, may we love You more than anything.
In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
