GOD HEARS OUR PRAYERS

One of the greatest assurances we have as believers is knowing that God hears us when we pray.
Psalm 66 reminds us that our prayers are not simply words spoken into the air. God listens. He attends to the voice of our prayers. Whether our prayer is spoken aloud, whispered quietly, prayed through tears, or expressed from the deepest places of our hearts, we can have confidence that God hears us.
Sometimes we may wonder whether God is listening because the answer has not yet come. At other times, His answer may look different from what we expected. But a delayed answer does not mean an unheard prayer. God knows what we need, He knows when we need it, and He knows what is ultimately best for us.
Today, let us continue to pray with faith and confidence. We do not have to beg God to listen. We can approach Him knowing that He loves us, cares about us, and hears the voice of His children.
Keep praying. Keep believing. Keep trusting. God hears our prayers.

💭 REFLECTION
The psalmist declares, “But verily God hath heard me.” What a powerful testimony!
There is comfort in knowing that when we pray, we have the attention of Almighty God. We may not always understand His timing or His methods, but we can trust His heart.
Verse 20 gives us another reason to rejoice: God has not turned away our prayers, nor His mercy from us. His mercy remains available. His love remains steadfast. His ear remains attentive.
As we continue through The Power of Prayer Series, let us remember that prayer is not an empty religious exercise. Prayer is communication with a living God who hears us.
May we enter this new week encouraged by this truth: God has heard us, God is listening, and God is still working.

Heavenly Father,
We thank You for another beautiful Sunday and another opportunity to come before You in prayer.
Lord, thank You for the assurance found in Your Word that You hear us when we pray. Thank You for attending to the voice of our prayers and for never turning Your mercy away from us.
Strengthen our faith today. Help us to continue praying even when we have not yet seen the answer. Teach us to trust Your timing, Your wisdom, and Your perfect will for our lives.
For every prayer that we have placed before You, give us peace while we wait. Remind us that You are working even when we cannot see what You are doing.
As we worship You today, prepare our hearts to receive Your Word. Bless every church, pastor, minister, musician, worship leader, and congregation gathering in Your name. May lives be changed, hearts encouraged, burdens lifted, and souls drawn closer to You.
Thank You for hearing our prayers. Thank You for Your mercy. Thank You for Your faithfulness.
In Jesus’ name, we pray.
